We sure know how to suck up :D


So this is the 3rd time I've attempted to start this post. It took me forever to decide what to post in this blog but I've decided since I spent a lot of time this week at the Royal Adelaide Show, I'm going to give a list of my favourite things from this week in no particular order.


1. Acquiring 7 plushies. I got the hippogriff, beaky, the phoenix, filomina, the lion, leroy, the sailor bear, rodger, an alienoid, belinda and birthday bear the care bear :D


2. My friend scared a scare crow. It was pretty good, the scare crow was giving a kid a hug and my friend stood behind him waiting for a hug. When he turned around he freaked, it was amazing to watch.


3. THE EXTREME! My new favourite ride, it goes in circles and at the same time 3 seats on the end of each arm spin as well, but perpendicular to the rest of the ride, in other words, you're spinning in 3D!


4. Looking at the cakes. I always love seeing the cakes in the competitions each year. This year there was one that was little miss and mr men themed, and another that had a rabbit sitting on a book, with writing on the other page written in icing, it's freaking amazing.


5. BUBBLES! They were selling so many bubble guns it was amazing, there were bubbles no matter where you went.


6. Cheese toasties! The staple diet for the week, seeing as they were only $2 and absolutely delicious!


7. The market bazaar. I love that place, looking around at everything random, highlights this year included the shocking pen that hurt me so much it fell out of my grip the second it began to shock me, the cool new thai pants I got for $10 and henna tattoos.


8. Sand sculptures. A professional sand sculptor comes in every year, last year he made a dragon but this year he made and ocean theme, there was a dolphin, a mermaid and PATRICK AND SPONGEBOB! However, for some reason spongebob came down, which was fine because he was replaced with (a very out of place sculpture of) Peter Griffin's head!


9. Motorbikes! They. Are. So. Cool. These guys can pull off some amazing stuff, admittedly not the best, but hey, still far beyond what most people could hope to do. I was legitimately scared for their lives at some stages, even if they've learnt the tricks and rehearsed and such.


10. Watching the fireworks from the members area. Some of them were literally right over my head, it was sooooo cool, and the best part is that they do it to music. Of course one of the songs was fireworks by Katy Perry, and I must say, I've never seen fireworks timed so well with music before in my life.


And there was heaps of other stuff that made my week at the show awesome, but I'll leave it at that for now :)

What's this? Another Update!

Greetings once again. I figured in order to make up for the recent lack of posts I would do another one. So what I'm going to do for the next few posts is pick a random word and find out interesting or pointless facts about it. So today's word is: Duck.

Hey all!


So yeah, like Ayame said, we haven't posted in forever, and like her, I'm going to do a summary of what I've done since I last update (but I won't count words)
Camp, Harry potter 7.2, school :p, brother flew half way around the world, retreat, finished diamond nuzlocke, started soulsilver nuzlocke, finished ss nuzlocke, started white nuzlocke, polaroid camera, royal adelaide show :D


To elaborate on those, purely to make this post longer:

• I went on July camp, because I'm cool and therefore am a scout. We stayed at a place called woodhouse for 4 days and it was heaps fun and I'm gonna be on TV :D
• Saw the final instalment of HP, twice. Didn't cry the first time because I wanted to see everything, but balled my eyes out the second time.
• School... yr. 12 is finally kicking in. It's really stressful and I think I may cave in soon
• My brother left for Sweden for a year of study exchange. It's cool that he's there but it sucks coz he's not here...
• Went on the venturer [scout] retreat (Ayame and Hatori also attended) which was pretty cool, had heaps of fun, met new people, learnt new words (WHISTEPOOP!)
• Did lots of nuzlocking, finished diamond with: Squidgy (empoleon), Sammy (weavile), Sean (hippowdon), Christy (rapidash), Lisa (Crobat) and Xavier (Lucario). Then started AND finished my ss nuzlocke with: Athena (Feraligatr), Seamus (Togekiss), Hugo (Machamp), Risa (Golem), Tuna (Magnezone) and Daisy (Arbok). Almost done on white, too.
• My brother's girlfriend got a polaroid camera and I have fairly unrestricted access to it, although I don't like to use it if she doesn't know I am
• THE SHOW!!!! IT'S ON THIS WEEK AND I LOVE IT!!! SUGAR AND RIDES AND BUBBLES AND FIREWORKS AND THE MARKET AND SHOWBAGS AND ANIMALS!

We are horrible people

Well hiya, its been an awful long time. We are still alive despite the fact that none of us have updated in ages. My most humble apoligises, I'm not going to make excuses I just never got around to updating. To be honest the only reason I thought I should update is becasuse I'm procastinating and couldn't think of anything else to do but hopefully we might get back in to updating more often. Much has been happening since last we said anything. First of all I have some reommmendations, (even though no one reads this, there is still the slight chance that one day some people might) for all you pokemon fans search these names on deviantArt and be amazed. Landwalker, pettyartist and ky-nim. I also recommend that you read the popular magna series 'Pokemon Adventures' it's awesome and listen to the band 'I Fight Dragons'. Finally if you ever have the chance to play the boardgame Balderdash, play it! It's awesome.

Okay now in excalty 29 words I'm going to tell you what I have been up to since the last update any of us did. Yeah that was a while ago. Here we go: Finished Pearl Nuzlocke, went camping, Saw final Happy Potter movie :(, AVCON!!, school (boring), started Soul Silver Nuzlocke, starting planning next Nerd Fest, went to Canberra and Sydney, updated blog.

Yeah just for the record, the HP books are a lot better than the movies but the movies were still good. AVCON was amazing, yay for Pokemon Tounaments. And now in order to increase the length of this post I found some random questions and when the other guys see that I updated I think you guys should do them too. Just saying. Anyways.

Hey awesome people,
So, at the moment we are completely obsessed with pokemon because of the challenge and other reasons so i figured i would post a few awesome pokemon facts. :D

1 - Some of Slowbro's Pokedex entries state that if the Shellder is removed, it reverts to Slowpoke. In other words, it de-evolves.

2 - Arcanine's species name is the "Legendary Pokemon" despite the fact that it's not actually a legendary in any way.

3 - Wobbuffet is the only fully evolved Pokemon that can't learn any TMs

4 - A large chunk of the 3D Pokemon models in Battle Revolution were actually reused from previous games on both the N64 and Gamecube.

5 - FR/LG has an anti-cheat feature where hacking in Mew would cause it to not listen. This is not in any of the DS games, however. To elaborate, Mew ignores every order you give it, regardless of what badges you earned. Also, the same thing happens with a hacked Deoxys.

6 - Illumise is the only Pokemon in Generation 3 whose name starts with the letter I

7 - Some beta versions of Red and Blue list Machamp's original name as "Ju-Doh"

8 - Magneton is made by three Magnemite, yet weighs 10 times more. Magnemite weighs 13.2 pounds, but Magneton weighs 132 pounds.

9 - Rock Throw is the only physical Rock attack with no secondary effect

Wow we suck at posting.

Hi all!

Pokemon comics

Hi all!

I'm zoning out a bit right now, because I'm reading pokemon comics. So for my post this week I'm gonna link you all up to my favourite three.

3. HATE THE FLAWS OF POKEMON GAMES?

Then you'll love pokemon: pebble version. This web comic devotes itself to pointing out every possible flaw in the pokemon games from the lack of food and houses to dragging around a bag with a bike, fishing rod and a stack of items in it with no problem. If you've ever wondered "how the hell does that make sense?" when playing pokemon, this comic has the answer (but you probably won't like it).

2. POKEMON IRL

Rare candy treatment. This comic is dedicated to answering the question "how would that work in real life?" It answers questions like:

"How does diglett use aerial ace?"

"What are the health risks of becoming a trainer?"

and the generation old question "What would kyogre be like as a roommate?"

1. THE GREATEST ACHEIVEMENT IN THE POKEMON WORLD EVER

We've been talking about doing a nuzlocke challenge for a long time, and how can you know anything about them without studying up first? A petty nuzlocke challenge is arguably the greatest nuzlocke comic ever, other than the original. The first few comics are hilarious, and after a while, you love locke's pokemon so much they don't have to be funny, you're reading to make sure you're favourite doesn't die. With a killer art style, and some awesome flash, as well as some pretty well concieved game-to-drama action, there's a reason this was voted the best comic of 2010.

CONSPIRACIES!!!!

Yes, I'm actually posting. And technically speaking, I shouldn't be, I have an assignment due tomorrow that is not quite finished... but I am, so lets get on with it.

I've been seeing these pop up one after the other lately, so I'm going to share with you my top 5 favourite POKEMON CONSPIRACY THEORIES!!! YAYYY!!!!

  5. ROTOM'S BEEN AROUND LONGER THAN WE THINK

And there are more of them than we ever thought. It's hard to talk about this one, so I will make my point with just this

  4. GENGAR IS CLEFAIRY'S SHADOW

Yeah, it's hard to argue with this one. Gengar is a ghost type pokemon and known as the shadow pokemon. Creepy enough. But the physical resemblance between these two pokemon is amazing. The pointy ears, the weird wing-things on their back and their simplistic limbs, it's incredible. Take a look at this

  3. KANGASKHAN IS CUBONE'S DEAD MOTHER

If you stop and think about it, it kinda makes sense. Cubone wears the skull of his dead mother, and Kangaskhan is born with a freaking baby. These don't make sense unless you pair the two up. If cubone eventually evolved into Kangaskhan then it's easily explained. Kangaskhan raises it's baby in it's pouch, and when it comes to die, releases the baby to be it's own pokemon, this baby is distraught to lose a mother it's been so close to, so it (somehow) takes it's skull as defence and one of it's bones as a weapon. But where's the middle ground? Right under your goddamn noses. We all know M' otherwise known as Missingno's sister. If you do the famous old man hack, you can catch it, and here's the fun part, if you level it, it evolves into OMFG KANGASKHAN! It's theorised that nintendo decided it was way too dark to put this story in a kid's game, so at the last minute they made a new evolution for cubone and made kangaskhan a standalone pokemon, putting the old pokemon in an unused slot, no. 0. Personally, I would rather hear this dark story than live with the confusion that cubone and kangaskhan brought me for eons.

  2. THERE WAS A GODDAMN GENERATION KILLING WAR

Again in the red/blue games, many players have noticed the lack of middle aged men, the player himself doesn't have a father and your rival is an orphan. when you set off for your adventures you're warned about the dangers of the world repeatedly, yet your mum says "all boys need to leave home eventually" ...alright. As you roam around all you find is old men and little kids frolicking in the monster-ridden wilderness. And here's the cherry; when you challenge Lt. Surge, he mentions how these electric pokemon "saved my life in the war." ...WHAT? WHAT WAR? So apparently there was a massive war, so massive that it killed an entire generation but a few, i.e. the players mum and that the players generation is the first to grow up in peace since the war ended. This explains a whole lot, doesn't it?

  1. YOU KILLED GARY'S RATICATE!

Okay, so in the red/blue games your rival blue/gary uses a raticate a lot and then suddenly it's gone. So what, right? It's a useless pokemon, who wouldn't box it? Here's the catch, the first time you see him without it, he's in the tower in freaking lavender town! You know, that place where people go to mourn dead pokemon? Not only that, but he comments on how "your pokemon don't look dead". To further screw with your heads, we go back in time, to the last time we saw this raticate alive. On the goddamn S.S. Anne. So, the theory goes that when you smashed Gary's annoying butt on the boat, you beat his Raticate to near death. With no pokemon centres on the boat he had to pray that he could reach land before he lost his friend, unfortunately he was unable to get there fast enough, and decided to bury and mourn his friend at lavender town, where who should he find but his friends killer?! This explains why he goes all pricky after that.

Good day fine people

Yes it is true,
I am posting for the first time in ages. This is mainly due to the fact I have bothered to get the email address and I no longer have homework (cough cough). Anyway I just thought I'll let you know we are awesome and awesome people are awesomely awesome and I've said awesomely awesome to awesomely much, but who cares, right. As you can see I'm rambling on. so you know. And I'm also trying to have good grammer for Shigure but I am failing.

Guess what is awesome its Shigure's birthday in 3 hours and 6 minutes. Ha, I can read a clock, so HAPPY BIRTHDAT SHIGURE YOU ARE TRUELY AWESOME AND BETTER HAVE A AWESOME DAY BECAUSE I GOT YOU THE BEST PRESENT :) Also it's my birthday next Sunday meaning I CAN LEGALLY DRIVE, very exciting. Just a cool fact here, did you know all three of us were born in Autumn. I think thats fairly cool. I love the word Autumn it's amazing it sounds and looks so cool.

Also (wow I've said also a lot in this too, haha, did you kow in spanish haha is jaja, cool fact there) I'm going to the Good Charlotte concert on Tuesday it shall be amazing, at the awesome stadium :). Surprise

Hi, so it’s been a while since any of us have posted. My computer is well, dead but I’m getting a laptop in two weeks so I should be back to regular posting.  I believe I finished Black/White 3^rdout of the 4 of us I’m not sure who finished first out of Shigure and AR. Also I got my AVCON ticket today J so that’s exciting.

Today I thought I would ramble a bit about various ‘wars’ going on in the virtual world or just my opinion of stuff compared to other stuff.

Ninjas v Pirates

The ninja/ pirate war has been going on since before the beginning of time. I don’t have a side because in reality I’m not a ninja or a pirate but if I could be I don’t know what one I’d be because they’re both awesome.

Mario v Sonic

Both very popular video game characters, as a kid I never had a 64 I grew up with a Sega but I prefer Mario over Sonic because Sonics’ changed the games just aren’t the same. Sonic Unleased was crap but I’ve heard good things about Sonic Colours. However, almost all Mario games I’ve played have been amazing. My favourites would have to be Mario Kart, Mario Party and Super Paper Mario.

Dragon Age v Fable

Both awesome games, but Dragon Age wins, because as awesome as Fable is Fable 2 and 3 were disappointed. Dragon Age 1 and 2 have both been amazing. For starters the story line is a lot better (I know it was made for an older audience) and the final bosses were actually challenging.  The Archedemon is a bitch to kill and I know Jack was but still you kill Lucian with one bullet and Walter was way too easy to kill. Plus the characters have a lot more detail (back story wise) I know this is probably because it was made for an older audience but hey Dragon Age wins.

Dubbed v Subbed

This all depends on what you watch the first time you see a series for example I cannot watch Pokemon, any of the Yu-Gi-Oh series or any of the Dragon Ball series in Japanese because I grew up watching them in English. Whereas Death Note and Vampire Knight I can’t watch in English because I watched them in Japanese.

So yea that’s my ramble for now, I’ll be back in two weeks unless I can get on a computer before then.

We're not dead

Hi all!

Yes it's been 2 weeks since anyone's posted, there are a variety of reasons why so let's just not go into that.

So, I don't have much to talk about... oh wait! YES I DO

BLACK AND WHITE

WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's finally here! Okay, technically I had it this time last week, but hey, details don't matter.

It's a pretty awesome addition to the pokemon RPG collection, honestly, I don't think they've ever made an original style pokemon game that was bad!

The new pokemon look good, the battle screen is definately better, with the moving camera and pokemon.

And the cutscenes -- OH MY GOD THE CUTSCENES! The graphics are amazing

Autumn :D

Good Morning all,

Today is the first day of the awesomest season of the year, because Autumn is awesome. It is not only the season we were all born it but also all the leaves go prettyful colours and when they fall off they're crunchy. Crunchy leaves are awesome.

Including today it is only 10 days away! That's so close, also I'm assuming we all going to have a little contest to see who can finsih the game first, by finish I beat defeat the Elite Four and if there is an after story finish that as well. When I got Soul Silver I beat Red in a week, I am very proud of that achievement. Shigure defeated all of the 16 gyms in 2 days and Hatori... is Hatori.

Keeping it short once again because I must be off to school soon.

17 days until awesomeness! Speaking of Pokemon, as we all know many pokemon are based of animals so I thought I'd tell you all about the fascinating creature known to us a hippopotamus or a hippo. Why? You ask. Well why not? It is always good to expand ones knowledge of what seems to be completely useless information but you never know, at some point in your life this may proof useful.

Hippos are the third largest land animal, next to the elephant and white rhino. When a hippo yawns it is not a sign of bordem or sleepiness it is a threat gesture. There razor sharp canine looking teeth are capable are biting a small boat in half. they can weigh up to 3 and a half tonnes and can live for up to 50 years. There name means 'River Horse' and they are more than capable of outrunning a person.

There you have it folks pointless facts about the hippo that may proof useful. Also Number 449 and 500 are based of hippos but thats pretty obvious.

Yes i have actually remembered to do a post but it has taken me all day to decide on wat to write, but after i heard the bad news i decided what to write on. yes mi post is on a sad note and after not posting for ages its not the best but i do beleive this needs to be said.

Today on the news it was stated that an Aussie soldier was shot in Afghanistan. This is a great saddness to us all, but the thing that hits me the most about this soldier is i knew him, and when i heard i cried. He is one of my closest friend's sisters boyfriend. And to his family and her i give my highest regards. To Rhi how much pain she would be going through to lose him. They were talking about getting married, and now i really dont know what to say. Jamie's dream was to serve his country and thts excactly what he did and know i hope he rests in peace and i thank him for what he has done for us and the world.

To his family, Rhi and the Kangaroo Island Community i give my best wishes,

Hi ALL!

Once again I'm going to ramble about yr. 12, as I may do quite a bit for a long while as it seems to be the only thing interesting happening to me lately.

I'm actually finding it suprisingly easy, everyone says it's hard but I think it only is if you're doing subjects you don't like.

Also, we have the theme decided for our formal this year, it's gonna be something like 'starry night' because it's just that awesome, we don't have to dress in theme, that's just the theme for the decorations.

And I officially have a 'date' ... yeah... I'm bringing a friend because, well, what else would you do if you were single? But it's gonna be heaps fun! Me and my friends had an awesome time last year and I'm thinking it'll be no different this year!

Anyway, I don't have much else to talk about so I'm gonna wrap it up for this week

Recently I have discovered anti-jokes, anti-jokes are jokes where logic and humour meet or they are jokes in which there is no punchline. For example:
A man walks into a bar. He's an alocoholic and it's destroying his family

So yea. 23 days until awesomeness! I am very excited about the new games coming out because they're going to be epicly awesome. I can't wait.

I can't believe I didn't post last week, although I had just gotten back from Yr. 12 retreat!

This year is gonna be so awesome! I've even found a way to incorporate pokemon into my schoolwork! I'm going to be creating advertisements for black and white (I'll post those when they're done) and everything will be done by me! It's gonna be freaking awesome!

Also it's only 2 months til my senior formal which will be interesting... also next week is valentines day... joy.

Also! Last Thursday was Chinese new year! So welcome all to the year of the metal rabbit!

YAY! It's Momiji's year! Rabbit's are generally creative, compassionate, friendly and outgoing. Where possible, they'll avoid conflict and approach situations camly with consideration for the other people involved. Metal rabbit's in particular are stronger, more resilient and really determined and intense!

So let's all have a good year of the rabbit and enjoy every moment as the friendly rabbit's would do!

Well it's been a while

I agree with the title, it's been over a week since anyone's posted so Hi. Me and Hatori have swapped days because she can't post on this day anymore, Shigure's in year 12 so she might not be able to post every week because of assignments and whatnot and AR never had a set day so yea.

So yep I really can't think of anything to say right now so I just thought I'd say hi. We are another day closer to the new pokemon games coming out yay! I'm pre-ordering White sometime this week, it's gonna be awesome.
