I agree with the title, it's been over a week since anyone's posted so Hi. Me and Hatori have swapped days because she can't post on this day anymore, Shigure's in year 12 so she might not be able to post every week because of assignments and whatnot and AR never had a set day so yea.
So yep I really can't think of anything to say right now so I just thought I'd say hi. We are another day closer to the new pokemon games coming out yay! I'm pre-ordering White sometime this week, it's gonna be awesome.

Good evening all,
Recently I was sorting out my room and found some pretty awesome stuff from when I was younger. The top 2 things that I found were my oringinal Beyblade! I was very happy the sad part the bitbeast sticker was faded a liitle bit but still I have my very own Dranzer. The other thing that I found that I thought was pretty awesome was my Yu-Gi-Oh rule book from the second starter deck that I got. When the Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards first came out I got the Yugi starter deck and my brother got Kiaba's, when the next few decks cam eout I got Joey's and my brother got Pegasus. Sadly we don't own these cards anymore as we gave them to our younger cousin.
I believe that's enough for my rant of the week.

Woo...
Hi all!
It's AUSTRALIA DAY!
I do not believe this to be a particularly cheerful holiday, providing you know the full story.
When the white people came from England to dump all their crooks on our shores, they landed and decided since there were no fences, buildings or anything else to signal "civilisation" they were free to take this land that was supposedly not owned by anyone. Then they noticed the natives, although at first some didn't believe them to be people. Either way the settlers for some weird reason saw fit to, that's right, slaughter the hell out of them. And they kept trying to eliminate them for several years, using several different methods eg downright slaughter and breeding them out, either way, not something they talk about in Australia day speeches.
And we still haven't quite got the message of how to actually respect them, we have governments throwing money at them that many communities of aboriginals have said they do not want it. And we pushed them to let tourists walk on Uluru, only to have said tourists cover it in a fine layer of rubbish, but hey, as long as we refer to stuff in the aboriginal language, we're being respectful, right?
So although this is a day to celebrate, I think we should also remember all the aboriginals that died and still feel lost and trapped in this 'free' country.
Ciao,
Shigure

And now a friendly public service announcement.
Hello potential readers.
No doubt some of you are aware of a piece of gossip that has come to the attention of the social networked masses of the world. I speak of nothing other than the so called "change to the zodiac".
In simple terms, the zodiac most of us have been familiar with up until recently has been based on old calculations of positions, however due to shifts in the positions of the stars from the perspective of Earth, the zodiac no longer fits these positions. Further more, there is a thirteenth constellation belonging in the zodiac, forming the star sign 'Ophichius', the snake bearer. Relatively recently, the global intercommunication services collectively known as 'social networking' and based in sites such as Facebook and Twitter have experienced a wave of excitement over the uncovering of this information, leading people to believe their fates have changed, the zodiac has moved and twisted around them. Further rumours have sprouted that this only affects people born after 2009.
To cut it all short, this is a load of bull s***.
To clarify, I am not stating that the zodiac and its meaning are false. However, one must consider this: nothing has changed. That the modern zodiac is not technically aligned to the stars is not new information. Scientists, astronomers and astrologers alike have, generally speaking, been long aware of this. This is not new. At all. Further more, Ophichius is even less new. The Mayans, when divining the zodiac, back when it was aligned, outright chose not to use Ophichius because they wanted twelve and not thirteen.
So why the big fuss? Sociology. People are stupid. Not as individuals, but as a collective. This is only enhanced by the mass connectivity and limited physical response through the digital medium. So when a (probably small) group of people find out something that is new to them, it has a potential to spark a chain reaction, spreading like wildfire throughout the hordes milling around in social networking. It's Chinese Whispers, except everybody ends up screaming simultaneously.
So no, internet, you don't have to pawn your themed jewelery or surgically remove your tattoo. Nothing has changed. GET THE F*** OVER IT!
Yours rantingly,
~AR

The stuff nightmares are made of
Hi all
So I'm going to my friend's house tomorrow to catch up before we go back to school. This of course, in turn reminded me that there is only this week and next week before I'm back at school.
Although this majorly sucks, there are some good points that come with it, the first being that I go back to retreat, that's right, the first three days of my school year will be spent relaxing and getting to know the same people I've already been getting to know for 4 years. Oh, and did I mention this is my last year of school? I'm stoked for being over and done with everything, and there's so much to look forward to, there's my Yr. 12 formal, jumpers with our names on them... which nickname I'm getting on mine I am still debating, and I'm seriously considering getting Shigure. I'm also looking forward to my final swimming carnival and sports day, especially when one of my best friends is vice-captain of my team (and we all know it was totally rigged) and muck-up day which we've been planning for 4 years and of course GRADUATION! at an all girls school, this is of course the most important day of the year, although I'm not into the glamourus weirdo insanity things, I'm still a sucker for a good dress, so I'm looking forward to an excuse to get something awesome. Oh, and no way am I wearing heels. You need not be alarmed... if you were. Those things serve no functional purpose and I hate them. I'm gonna scourge the earth if I have to in order to find some formal flats. I'm so excited!!!! This year's gonna be FREAKING AMAZING!
That's all from me this week
Ciao,
Shigure

Hi Guys
Majorly excited, for 2 reasons. First Pokemon. Black and White come out soon and it shall be amzaing, I can't wait. Secondly the new Yi-Gi-Oh movie comes out this year. Yay! It's going to be awesome.
Anyways... Hello I'm back. I was gone but I'm not anymore. As Shigure mentioned we had a discussion about what type of Elite Four trainer we would be. I would be posion because getting posioned is very annoye, getting posioning with toxic twice is even worse. Obviously the opponent would just use antidotes to remove it but you'd get a free turn every time they do.
AR recently let me borrow an amazing game. The World Ends With You. It's awesome, AR can expalin it better all I can say is it's awesome. Also I finished the main story line of Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs a few days ago and I haven't got 100% yet.
I don't have much else to say this week, Hatori's on a camp at the moment so she won't be posting this week.
Farewell
Ayame

AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! EXCITED!!!
HI ALL!
So yeah, I'm excited! Why am I excited? Because just yesterday Serebii released the official release dates for pokemon black and white in each region!
It comes out in Australia on the 10th of March this year! That's 4 days after America gets it and 6 days after Europe. Is anyone else majorly excited! GAHI'MSOEXCITEDICAN'TEVENBOTHERUSINGSPACEBAR!!!!!!!!!!!
I want it to be march!
Also, while on the topic of pokemon, today I was completed pokemon ranger guardian signs (present) 100%
It was more exciting than new years. seriously. I love lugia. Also this means I can answer ANY questions about the game. As I know everything. Otherwise I wouldn't have been able to beat the game. Here are some random facts about the game that you may enjoy SEMI-SPOILER ALERT! (meaning yes, they are spoilers but no, they are not particularly handy):
- The only complete, evolved starter set that you can drag around behind you is the 3rd gen, all others contain bosses
- That area on the way to silver falls, just underneath Blastoise that seems suspiciously empty? Not good for anything
- Tyranitar is the only pokemon depicted on a cave door that you cannot find without completing missions.
Ooh! Ooh! AAAAAAAAND! It recently came up in a discussion between me and Ayame what type of elite 4 trainer we would be. I love conversations like these. I decided I'd be a fighting type elite 4 as they can easily learn moves that are super effective against types they would otherwise be weak against, also, their main two weaknesses, flying and psychic, aren't types renowned for the def or Sp. def. Since fighting types ARE renowned for their atk and Sp. atk, that is a slight stats advantage. I think about this too much!
GGGGGAAAAAAAHHHH EXCITMENT!!!!!
Okay. Calm now. While I'm here I decided I want to have a 'thing' something I do in my post every week as well as the random stuff I find to go on about each week, and I decided, I'll do some definitions. Why? Because I'm good at it and they're interesting to learn if you didn't already know them. Big words are fun!
So, I'll start with the word Abstinence.
Abstinence is a noun, it means forbearance from any indulgence in appetite. Which in turn basically means not eating or drinking.
So if someone is 'sobering up' you could say they are in abstinence
That's all for this week
Ciao,
Shigure
